36 คำสอนของ พ่อหลวง

1. ขอบคุณข้าวทุกเม็ด น้ำทุกหยด อาหารทุกจานอย่างจริงใจ

2. อย่าสวดมนต์เพื่อขอสิ่งใด นอกจาก ปัญญา และความกล้าหาญ
Do not pray for anything other than wisdom and courage.

3. เพื่อนใหม่ คือของขวัญที่ให้กับตัวเอง ส่วนเพื่อนเก่า หรือ มิตร คืออัญมณีที่นับ วันจะเพิ่มคุณค่า

4. อ่านหนังสือธรรมะปีละเล่ม
Read a Dharma book once a year.

5. ปฏิบัติต่อคนอื่น เช่นเดียวกับที่ต้องการให้ผู้อื่นปฏิบัติต่อเรา
Try to treat others as you would want them to treat you.

6. พูดคำว่า ขอบคุณ ให้มากๆ
Say “Thank you” as often as you can.

7. รักษา ความลับ ให้เป็น
Know how to keep a secret.

8. ประเมินคุณค่าของการให้ อภัย ให้สูง
Do value forgiveness highly.

9. ฟังให้มาก แล้วจะได้คู่สนทนาที่ดี
Listen more, you may discover a great conversational partner.

10. ยอมรับความผิดพลาดของตัวเอง หากมีใครตำหนิ และรู้แก่ใจว่า เป็นจริง
Admit your mistakes even when someone reprimands you. You should understand if it is true.

11.หากล้มลง จงอย่ากลัวกับการลุกขึ้นใหม่
If you fall, do not be afraid to stand up again.

12. เมื่อเผชิญหน้ากับงานหนัก คิดเสมอว่า เป็นไปไม่ได้ที่จะล้มเหลว
When confronted with difficult tasks, be reminded that failure is imminent.

13. อย่าถกเถียงธุรกิจภายในลิฟต์
Do not discuss business matters in elevators.

Since no body could start running at birth, do everything step by step.

19. การประหยัดเป็นบ่อเกิดแห่งความร่ำรวย เป็นต้นทางแห่งความไม่ประมาท
Frugality is the emanation of wealth as it is also the end of negligent.

20. คนไม่รักเงิน คือคนไม่รักชีวิต ไม่รักอนาคต
He who doesn’t cherish capital, doesn’t appreciate his life or his future.

21. ยามทะเลาะกัน ผู้ที่เงียบก่อน คือผู้ที่มีการอบรมสั่งสอนที่ดี
He who first holds his tongue during a quarrel is well-raised.

22. ชีวิตนี้ฉันไม่เคยได้ทำงานเลยสักวัน ทุกวันเป็นวันสนุกหมด
You would never feel like you have worked a day in your life when you enjoy your work everyday.

23. จงใช้จุดแข็ง อย่าเอาชนะจุดอ่อน
Don’t defeat weaknesses with strengths.

24. เป็นหน้าที่ของเราที่จะพูดให้คนอื่นเข้าใจ ไม่ใช่หน้าที่ของคนอื่นที่จะทำความเข้าใจสิ่งที่เราพูด
It is our duty to talk clearly so others would understand, not theirs to try to understand our words.

25. เหรีญเดียวมีสองหน้า ความสำเร็จกับล้มเหลว
A coin consists of two sides: success and failure.

26. อย่าตามใจตัวเอง เรื่องยุ่งๆเกิดขึ้นล้วนตามใจตัวเองทั้งสิ้น
Do not be selfish as it is often the inception of disorder.

27. ฟันร่วงเพราะมันแข็ง ส่วนลิ้นยังอยู่เพราะมันอ่อน
A tooth falls because it became hard, while tongue falls because it became soft.

28. อย่าดึงต้นกล้าให้โตไวๆ ( อย่าใจร้อน)
Do not force seedings to grow faster. In other words, be patient.

29. ระลึกถึงความตายวันละ 3 ครั้ง ชีวิตจะมีสุข มีอภัย มีให้
Reminisce about death three times a day, you shall live a happy life, filled with giving and forgiving.

30. ถ้าติดกระดุมเม็ดแรกผิด กระดุมเม็ดต่อๆไปก็ผิดหมด
If the first button is buttoned worn, the rest shall be wrong.

31. ทุกชิ้นงานจะต้องกำหนดวันเวลาแล้วเสร็จ
Every piece of work must have a deadline.

32. จงเป็นน้ำครึ่งแก้วตลอดชีวิต เพื่อเรียนรู้เพิ่มเติมได้ตลอด
Only fill a glass of water half full, you will learn to always seek for more knowledge.

33. ดาวและเดือนที่อยู่สูง อยากได้ต้องปีน บันไดสูง
The moon and the stars reside up high. One must climb a long ladder to reach them.

34. มนุษย์ทุกคนมีชิ้นงานมากมายในชีวิต จงทำชิ้นงานที่สำคัญที่สุดก่อนเสมอ
Everyone has many things to accomplish in life. One must always complete the most important task before others tasks.

35. หนังสือเป็นศูนย์รวมปัญญาของโลก จงอ่านหนังสือเดือนละเล่ม
Books are the central of knowledge of the world. Do read a book once month.

36. ระเบียบวินัย คือคุณสมบัติ ที่สำคัญในการดำเนินชีวิต
Discipline is an important key to livelihood.
